I basically fangirled for twelve whole hours yesterday in excellent company. Also watched the first two episodes of Sentou Yousei Yukikaze aka the Series In Which The Plane Is The Seme of Them All (and also, all medical staff moonlight as pr0n stars). It also led to much hilarity ("no one in this show has a sense of humour"; "maybe it's a military requirement") whereupon squidlet, tashigi and I wandered around for the rest of the day shouting "PAN PAN PAN!", "JAM!" and "BURGERDISH!" (or really 'Burgaadishu!"). (The aliens, we swear to you, are nuclear fuel cell-powered radioactive eggbeaters. This show is so serious that it's nearly impossible to take it seriously: the wangst, the mythology references, the food references, the acronyms... o Gonzo how we love thee.) And then squidlet and I got our brains and eyeballs blown out by tashigi's art, specifically this AkuTaka pic. (My deepest apologies to K (^_^;;) the three of us should probably really not be experienced outside of a controlled setting.)

Music post and hopefully fic coming up, as parents have decided there's no movie worth watching. 9_9 (People who promised to watch Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and March of the Penguins with me? COUGH.)
